"OUR FATHER..." - AN ALL-CHURCH PRAYER AND WORSHIP CELEBRATION
On Sunday night, May 22nd, from 6:00pm-7:30pm, our prayer ministry is hosting an all-church, intergenerational night of Prayer and Worship.  It is planned to follow the four main segments of the Lord's Prayer. It will be interactive and reflective, highlighting several different ways to pray. We'll also have some worship music. Plan now to attend this celebration of prayer and worship.
LAST CALL FOR GRADUATES
It is almost time for our Class of 2022 Seniors to graduate!  We look forward to celebrating our graduating seniors on June 12th.  If you have a senior that is graduating this year, please email their names to our Youth Pastor, Ryan O'Neill, by the week of May 22nd.

HOSPITALITY TEAM VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
We are rebuilding our hospitality team and are looking for volunteers to help with providing drip coffee and hot tea on Sunday mornings.  If you are interested in helping in this way, plan to attend a brief meeting and training after service this Sunday, May 22nd in Room 414 or contact Pastor Stephanie

UPCOMING OUTDOORS GROUP EVENTS
Our Outdoors Group has two upcoming events you may be interested in!
  • On May 30th, there will be a short afternoon hike to Scatter Creek Wildlife Area North.  This is a fairly easy hike with mostly level ground.  There are some beautiful flowers to see this time of year.  Dogs are allowed to join.  Meet at MVCN at 1:00pm.  Please register by clicking the button below or by signing up at the Connection Center.
  • On June 18th, there will be a clam dig/oyster shucking beach cookout at Potlatch State Park.  Join us to learn how to dig, clean and cook razor clams. All are welcome!  Meet at MVCN at 12:00pm.  Please register by clicking the button below or by signing up at the Connection Center.
    Items to bring: 
    • Anyone who is 15 years or older are required to have either a saltwater fishing license, a shellfish/seaweed license, or a 3-day razor clam license. They can be purchased online through WA Fish & Wildlife or can be purchased at Walmart or Fred Meyer.
    • Please bring a razor clam shovel or a clam tube, a bucket or clam bag, and a cooler to bring clams back.
    • Proper clothes and boots for clam digging.
If you know others who would like to join us for either of these events, please help us spread the word and invite them to come!

CAFE REOPENING JUNE 5TH
The MVCN Cafe will be reopening on June 5th serving hot and cold espresso drinks!  It will be open from 9:15am-10:00am and for 15 minutes following the service.  Please plan to pay for your drinks with cash only.   
PART TIME JANITORIAL POSITION AVAILABLE
MVCN has a part time janitorial position available.  If you are interested in applying for the position, please drop by the Church Office (Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm, Friday 8:00am-12:00pm) to fill out an application.
MV KIDS SCHEDULE FOR MAY/JUNE
  • MV Kids Church will meet every Sunday morning from 10:00am-11:00am during the adult Sunday Service.
  • MV Kids Club will meet every Sunday morning from 11:15am-12:00pm through June 12th.
  • MV Kids Zone will meet every Wednesday evening from 7:00pm-8:00pm, except for June 27th-30th during MV Kids Camp from 6:30pm-8:30pm (see below).

MV KIDS CAMP
Parents!  Registration is now open for MV Kids Camp: Make Waves!  MV Kids Camp will be on Monday, June 27th-Thursday, June 30th from 6:30pm-8:30pm each night on the Mountain View Church campus.  This camp is for kids 4-years-old – 5th grades (just completed).

WAPAC KIDS CAMP
WAPAC Kids Camp is July 11th-15th at Miracle Ranch in Port Orchard, WA!  Register your child entering 4th-7th grades in Fall 2022 by clicking the button below.  Contact our Children's Pastor, Kelly Bogart, for a coupon code and scholarship information.

MV YOUTH SCHEDULE FOR MAY/JUNE
  • MV Youth Group will meet every Wednesday evening from 7:00pm-8:00pm.
  • MV Youth Small Groups will meet every Sunday morning from 11:15am-12:00pm through June 12th.
  • MV Youth Service will meet every Sunday evening from 7:00pm-8:00pm.
THEMED WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
The first Wednesday of every month we will have a bigger-scale event style night, so your student may need to bring something.  These are the planned themed nights:
  • June 29 - Stress Reliever Night
  • July 6 - Deep Fry Night
  • August 3 - Summer SwollStice
  • September 7 - Boujie Ball II
WAPAC JUNIOR HIGH AND SENIOR HIGH CAMPS
Camp is back!  This year both camps will be at Miracle Ranch in Port Orchard, WA.

WAPAC Junior High Camp is July 18th-22nd
WAPAC Senior High Camp is August 8th-12th

AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE AT MVCN
Mountain View Church is hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, June 15th from 12:00pm-5:00pm.

There are several ways you can help:
  • Sign up to donate blood (button below)
  • Share this event with community members who may be interested in donating
  • Volunteer to serve one more more shifts at the Blood Drive Event (button below). Let’s bless our community! 
Also, because of your donation you are eligible to:
  • Receive a $5 e-card,

THURSTON COUNTY FOOD BANK (TCFB) POP UP AT MVCN
The TCFB pop up is at MVCN on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month.  The TCFB will be back tomorrow, Thursday, May 26th, from 10:00am-1:00pm. If you would like to help with the food bank, please register by clicking the button below.

We are now ACCEPTING DONATIONS OF DIAPERS (any size).  MVCN has been distributing diapers to families in need at our TCFB pop up. We invite you to join us in this huge ministry opportunity to our community so we can help even more families.  Please drop off any diaper donations at the TCFB table in the foyer.

If you know people in need, please share this information with them.  Thank you for sharing the love of Jesus through your continued service to, and prayers for, our community!
